Needed Items
Rosin - For use with the bow
Shoulder rest - Foam shoulder rest included with rental, however, you may purchase the next step up from brands including: Everest and Kun.
Soft Cloth - This should be a small cloth able to fit in the case with the instrument. It is used to wipe rosin off of the strings after playing. You can use a washcloth, small clean rag from home or microfiber tech cloth.
Extra Strings - These are not mandatory, but will come in handy as your child's instrument will eventually need string a replacement and strings should be replaced every so often. Ask your child's teacher what quality string brand to and size to buy for your child's instrument.
Tuner - (For advanced players only) Once your child learns how to tune their instrument, they may wish to have their own tuner to tune their instrument for at home practice. We recommend Korg brand tuners for their price and reliability.
